no
artistic ability is assumed
Painting
events can take many forms and require no artistic ability.
Events take place in an atmosphere of fun and can be co-ordinated
by your great artist. Your choice
of artist will affect your event; expect events run by Salvador
Dali, to be 'off the wall', whilst those by Picasso to
be more structured. Painting events can also be run to your own
theme.
Contact Paul Priestley for
further details. Whether you choose a great artist or
base the event around your own theme, you are guaranteed a wonderful
time. 0

Large Group
Painting
Group painting events
work around the idea of creating a large painting made up of sections
produced by individuals. The format can vary; the image to be sectioned
can be created either by the group under the direction of the great
artist, - Monet creates Impressionist paintings -
or we work to your theme.
The idea behind this event is to create the atmosphere
of an artist's studio, anything can happen and usually does.
All techniques are demonstrated either by your chosen great
artist, or to fit your theme.
Great fun for all.
Portrait Painting
Crowne Plaza Hotel - Nottingham
Client: Appletizer
Anyone can paint a
portrait with a great
artist to guide and inspire. They just have to
decide how big it is going to be. With Picasso,
eyes may be looking in different directions, with Warhol colours
will clash and blaze with illumination, whereas Matisse is
bold, dramatic and very colourful. Alternatively, protraits can
be produced to explore your own theme - expressing feelings or
emotions for example.
All techniques will be demonstrate
including how to draw a basic face, which involves a lot of client
participation!
Event concludes with the presentation of The Splosh Prize

Days
Painting days can be
organised in any way you wish. You might have
an historical venue and wish for a painting day to reflect the
surroundings, alternatively, you may wish to take everyone outside
and paint the landscape as seen in the TV programme, Watercolour
Challenge. Please discuss your ideas/requirements with Paul
